(The Boys)- Homelander getting verbally destroyed by Stan

Homelander: "Now that I look at you, you'renot even patgetic; you're just... nothing."

Stan: "Then why are you still here? Looking for my approval like I'm your daddy. And even if I were, what there be to approve of?"

(Sinners)- Smoke's retort after Annie confronts him about his loss in faith in Hoodoo.

Annie: "How you know I ain't pray and work ever root that my grandma taught me to keep you and that crazy brother of your's safe?! Everyday since you've been gone?!"

Smoke: "So why those roots ain't work on our baby then?"

Question is, why is she trying to Asukill Shinji?

1. Jeffery (Class of 09): Jeffery' stereotypical weeaboo demeanor, immature misogyny, and emotionally stunted attitude have made him one of the most reviled and mocked characters in Class of 09, even more so than character from his story who are literal murders.

2. Homelander (The Boys): From start to finish, Homelander was nothing but a emotionally stunted, callous manchild who prioritized his image over the lives of others. As such, Homelander has been the butt of internet jokes/discussions for the past half decade, and his final moments definitely did not do him any favors.

3. Basil (OMORI): Basil's fragile behavior, effeminate demeanor, and role in the truth of the game, OMORI, have made him one of the most polarizing characters in the game. There is a good portion of the OMORI community that outright _abhorr_ Basil, to the point that jokes about his suffering and graphic depictions of his death are a common thing to find within the OMORI community

Dead Fics are unfinished stories that the author has abandoned and is unlikely to ever finish.

Dear god, I HATE it when I get hooked on an excellent story, one with intrigue, charm, and soul, only to get stopped 20 chapters in by a "last updated: before you were born, motherfucker!"

1. How We Subsist (Last Updated April 2022): A beautifully heartbreaking alternate telling of the game OMORI where the main protagonist, Sunny, comes to terms with the truth and leaves his house two years earlier than he does in the source material. The story explores how Sunny's earlier leaving of his house affects his relationships with his friends and the relationship he forms with his former crush, Aubrey. Or, at least, it would have been. The fic was set to have 37 chapter to it, but the story stopped at Chapter 22 and the author has not posted to AO3 since...

2. Shinji and the Doctor (Last Updated: October 2021): This absolute charm of a crossover fic of Neon Genesis Evangelion and Doctor Who explores what would happen if the universe of Doctor Who coincided with the universe of Evangelion, and how it would affect the character of both universes. It also gives us a charming interpretation of how Shinji would turn out to be if he had a healthy role model/mentor present to help him. And, of course, IT HASN'T BEEN UPDATED FOR AMOLST HALF A FUCKING DECADE!
