I got an informal call 3 weeks ago from the manager who interviewed me saying they are moving forward with my application. The call was more personal, with him checking that I will take the opportunity and ensure my spot in the program, trying to confirm numbers. He said that in the next week or so (cant really remember the specific wording) I will get further information about the acceptance. It has been 3 weeks and Ive heard nothing. I also feel like I cant really contact the company bc the call felt a bit "off-the-books" and i also don't wanna seem impatient. I also only have his personal phone number, not email, and it feels unprofessional to contact that personal number again. Any assistance on what to do next is much appreciated!

I have realised that with my train transfer I will end up catching a train that allows me to arrive at narita airport at 9:30am or 10:00am for a 11:23am international flight. This is a bit too close for my comfort, but I have looked into other options, and there are no earlier trains so either I can book a hotel in tokyo for the night or switch flights, both of which cost a few hundred dollars extra (I will also only be partially refunded for my morning train tickets if i do decide to change my plans). It would be more economical to keep to the tight travel arrangement but is it too risky/what would u do in this situation? Thanks for ur input.

the test instructions say we wont be able to
open an internet browser during the test, but how would i be able to open PDF versions of the GLAs without this access nor an active Adobe Acrobat account? Can u still open them during the test or is there a different format I should load my documents as?

I heard that your avg is only really considered in 3rd and 4th year, is this true? or will my grades from my first and second year also be included into my graduating CWA. Maybe it still is used for CWA, but only the last two year's grades are used for the Chancellor's list?

Basically as title says, i feel like the basement cafe kebab for $14 is the best ive seen thus far, or chillis at green village. does anyone have any suggestions?
