Paying tax on investments

Hi everyone. I have been a home maker most of my life so have no income of my own. A year ago I had 500 euro saved from my household budget and decided to put it into an investment app. I only run the household budget so do not know much about finances and honestly didn't think anything would come of it. But it did, and it is now worth a lot more. My question - how does taxation work on this if I withdraw the money? As far as I can find online there is a 33% or 38% capital gains tax to be paid on it. How does my husband declare it on his tax? As I said, I'm not very knowledgeable with these things, so any advice on where I can find answers would be appreciated. Thank you.

House sitting service to look after pets

Good morning. I was wondering if there is a reputable pet sitting agency / service in Wexford or Waterford area please. We want someone to stay in the house with the pets instead of putting them in a kennel. Thank you.

Moving kittens around and meeting other cats

Hi everyone. The kitten we found had her babies on Friday in my craft room closet which we cleared out for her. Since yesterday she is carrying the kittens to everywhere we are and seems to only settle down if she is in the same room as us. She just drop them on the floor in front of me and then go get the next one. She also becomes very vocal if she cannot see one of us. Obviously we cannot stay in one room. My question - any suggestions on how to deal with this? I feel it cannot be good for the kittens to be moved so much? For now we have them in a box and if she starts carrying them to us we just move the whole box for her and she settles down. Any advice appreciated

Second question - how and when do we start introducing our other cats to her and the babies?

I am looking for someone who is registered with the council that would be able to pick up a 2 seater electric leather sofa and two chairs and deliver them to Holmestown recycling centre. We unfortunately do not have a big enough vehicle to do it ourselves. According to the council person I spoke to it is the only centre able to take furniture. I have looked into a skip but they are unbelievably expensive. Any recommendation would be appreciated. Thank you.
