Hi laddies!

Can someone help me understand when should I take a blood test to know about pregnancy I’m 9days late today.
I have been trying since March with no positive outcomes. Last month after my periods I have had an encounter of a stressful event. I’m not sure if periods are late because of that or what’s the reason because all the home pregnancy test are negative.
Please help me understand next steps and some dos and donts. All our body tests are fine including hormones semen analysis, no PCOD etc.

Can someone help me to understand when should I take a blood test for pregnancy?
My periods are now 8 days late. I took the home kit test but it turned out negative.
I would also like to mention that I recently had a very stressful encounter after my periods last month.
I’m not sure if the periods are late because of that or what’s the reason. I have been ttc from last 6 months.

Hi everyone, please don’t judge me.
I’m TTC from last 4 months but am unsuccessful. We are consummating everyday for better chance. Hoping every month this would the month but sadly it never is.
I have one addiction of smoking cigarettes. I can’t get to quit, I’ve decided once I get the news I’ll stop but it isn’t happening. There’s is another catch. My husband doesn’t know I smoke he thinks I’ve quit 3 years back when he did but I’ve always smoked since. Every small chance I get like whe he’s sleeping, I find ideas to send him to buy something so I ca smoke.
Can this be the reason of me not being able to conceive? Has anyone been able to get pregnant while smoking and stopped after getting the news?
I know I should quit and try but I’m really trapped.
PS- please don’t suggest get help, therapy, share with someone etc.
