Mage gear variants lore?
I was wondering if there was any actual information on the various mage gears and their countries of origin.
we've seen the horse bikes, the ski suits, the broom sticks, the imperial suits, and now the federation armor, I assume the skis represent norway/sweden, the horses are maybe french? and the broomsticks are british? the multinational unit uses broomsticks and skis and has members from the unified states, but the unified states hasn't officially joined the war so have we not actually seen what US mage gear looks like?
Tanya the Mage Instructor?
I know Tanya wants a desk job but kinda confused why she never tried to become a mage instructor or academic administrator. I know she spent some time as an instructor and trained the 203rd but I feel like if she wanted a more solid position in the backlines she could have pushed, as the empire's premier mage, to train the empire's mages in general into the best in the world?
Her previous work was to filter out weak mages, but as we see with her combined forces unit, the average imperial mage is trash, so she probably could have proposed to run the mage instruction and found a way to make even the weakest mages into powerful combatants.
The other benefit to this being that achieving a high rank in the imperial forces would make her a decision maker, thus, liable for any crimes or retribution after the war ends, but as an instructor or particularly, administrator of a Mage institution, she would bear no liability for the war and decisions made in it, and would have an established market purpose in the economy after the war.
was Nanahoshi supposed to reincarnate?
I'm re-binging before the next season and something caught my interest, Rudeus saved Nanahoshi before he died, and conveniently, she was later teleported. And Orsted mentions that Paul isn't supposed to have a son. So was Nanahoshi supposed to get isekai'd by the truck and Rudeus just happened to screw that up? resulting in whoever summoned her to resort to the teleportation after the reincarnation failed?
It just seems oddly convenient for Rudy to have saved her life, himself dying, only for them to later meet in the other world with her teleporting after about 10 years which, realistically, is probably about the amount of time it would take for a summoner to prepare some big, world shattering level spell like the teleportation incident. It just seems like too much of a coincidence to have been specifically *her* instead of some random person.
"Stunted" passive skill
Had an idea;
Stunted: A passive skill that decreases the size of a pal by 20% and gives them a 10% movement speed boost.
This makes them cuter and makes your base less crowded by giant pals.
