Good afternoon folks! Looking for some help on issues I’m having, which is my ss don’t work at all for the most part. I did get it to burst a few times. Dry firing function test works perfectly fine. Bolt doesn’t get stuck at all. Single shots work and the SS position works as advertised. Very smooth and I was pretty confident it would work. When testing it with live ammo the bolt did not get stuck to the rear but it basically would only shoot once and that’s absolutely it. It ejected fine, shot singles perfectly fine, no dead triggers, but it would only shoot one at a time. I tried light trigger pulls, hard trigger pulls, and nothing. I have maybe 150 rounds through this thing.
My questions:
1.) Is the plastic buffer too long and not activating the SS? What is the normal length for the buffers?
2.) Do I need to trim the hammer if I have the buffer in there although the bolt is not sticking at all?
- What other options are there for solutions?
