In the video I was running a H3 Buffer 5.4oz it’s not one of the ones that are one solid piece it’s has the sliding weights, also had a Blue Spring Co spring.
It works as normal on semi but every-time I switched to “super” id only get one shot and light primer strike on the next one, took it apart and put a Red Spring from spring co as well and now I’d get 3 round bursts and dead trigger/light primer strike
Yes I have a full auto bcg, the right cut trigger and I have shaved the upper and and high shelf, any tips on what I should change and try next time I hit the range?
So I just ordered an akm ss from super safety shop .com along with the 3 position jig. I keep seeing mixed things about needing a full auto safety selector and disconnect in order for it to function. I’m running a tapco g2 fire control group in a wasr10.
I never used this/a gunsmith before so Im trying to make this as easy as possible in hopes avoiding any issues or bad results like I hear is very possible when using a local gunsmith. I got the pics from that dude with the ARV with a RB that Blowback9 put into a single pic to help the cause.
Im wondering if you all who have done this have any measurements I may be able to add to help the gunsmith. Im thinking/hoping it's something simple like the gunsmith can make a pencil mark with on the bolt weight, remove and then just start shaving....but im wondering if theres anything else to do to make sure it gets done right the first time.
Just wondering, the 25% off using crypto seems a little off
Thank you for all your help guys. I had the wrong fire control group geometry and was pointed in the right direction. Here is a little happy dance 😁
I recently got a nexus lower for my kuna and got an arc fire v2 trigger kit and am using the dirty bird single stage milspec for the other trigger components. Idk if I’m installing the selector wrong but when I am in semi auto on the selector it’s acts like arc fire not semi auto. Anyone know how to fix?
Spotted this on instagram. 2AC Guns is working on an FRT for the 1919. No word on pricing, ETA, or even if they'll ever sell it at all since they haven't posted any live fire videos and dry cycling is always different from the real thing.
Good Afternoon, I recently purchased and installed (probably the issue) an FRS from Atrius and it seems that when I switch to SS the trigger seems to lock up as if it was just on safe, functions check is perfect etc etc and fires fine in semi but once I switch to SS it locks up and if switched back to semi its jam city. Just looking for some insight on a possible issue thanks yall.
It can't be a coincidence right?
Good news mpa30 owners. The Twitch V3 3 position frt works! Id recommend getting printed in stainless.
Been trying to fine tune my 300 blackout to run subs suppressed on super safe. Finally said F it and grabbed a KAK DBC BCG! Time to go broke! 🥸
Anyone run into issues with the Jakl receiving hinge that comes with the Jakl kit by AS Designs? (Screw was removed after multiple back and forth and frustration)
Y'all not going to believe this. I was going to test the 10 rd mags with 5 rds to see if the spring force was making them not run. I thought I would clean the mags so I took the 10 rd box mags apart and all 3 mag springs were in backwards. I switched the plate retainers and follower around so the high point of the spring was pointing to the front of the mags and they all work flawlessly during 50 rds today. Flawlessly with #8 fed wally shot. They were 2x as easy to load after the fix. 615 RPM.
Anyone running a atrius frs using a aero lower? Mines binding on my current lower and dont feel like messing with the shelf anymore so going to upgrade and have been looking at aero lowers. Basically wanna know if it was just a drop in and it works. The selector has been tuned by previous owner and im really hesitant to mess with the selector itself
Has anyone tried these with the precut triggers? Is there any more tuning required? Or are these drop in?
I recently bought a diamondback 7 inch arp and went ahead and also bought a h3 buffer and spring milspec with the deeznutz tactical super safety kit. I was able to install it and got the semi and safety to work but when I went to test it in the range the super safety mode would only sometimes work and when it did work it would only shoot out about 5 in a burst and then I would get a dead trigger where the trigger would just get hard and I would have to re rack the gun emptying the 556 bullet that cycled in and it would only shoot one time then I get the dead trigger again and have to re rack again emptying the chamber of the bullet that cycled and get one shot and dead trigger again. The pictures I attached are how my super safety lever looks and what looks to me metal specs left behind. Thoughts on how to get this to run smooth?
** I have a FM9 running like a top with a super safety along with several other 556 and 7.62x39 ARs. I also researched this issue and the fixes aren’t working.**
Just got this Aero EPC9 lower and went to install a super safety but it is binding on the trigger. Trigger will not move at all in safe. I ground a dimple into the trigger but it is still binding 100%. I don’t want to get any closer to the rounded corner so I’m not sure what else to do. Don’t want to ruin the trigger.
What about grinding a divot in the floor of the pocket to allow more space for the trigger to move? I already opened up the edges of the pocket (as you can see in pic) bc it was tight.
Using a MuffinTop Tactical SS, same as my others that work perfectly.
u/blowback9 or any others have any ideas on this?
