Damage over time deck?

I have always loved damage over time playstyles in games but haven’t been able to find a good fit in mtg. I would love something like the poison effect from silent in slay the spire. I was considering rad counters and effects that cause damage when milling cards or a deck that uses cards like Ichor rats to give all players a poison counter then proliferate that to 10 without using combat damage to speed it up.

I want a deck that I can play against precons and upgraded precons.

Are there other effects that fit this theme better? Here are a few other ideas I had that might have better legs than I thought:

- passive life gain with pieces that deal damage based on life gained.

-curse cards

- erriette of the enchanted apple with lots of auras on opponents creatures

- some form of aristocrats engine that allows for consistent damage each turn by sacrificing creatures to damage opponents

- mill/rad counters using effects to cause damage for milling

- flicker effects that work each turn with creatures that deal damage on etb/ltb

Thanks for the help

I am looking for a FPS that is set in a near future setting like the division or ghost recon future soldier, or a high fantasy modern setting like witch fire or warhammer 40K where guns and magic both exist. I would like the game to feature deep weapon customization and extraction , roguelike, or survival crafting gameplay, with a gameplay loop of: gear up -> explore/loot/fight -> return to base -> upgrades -> repeat.

I’d like the gunplay to include the use of abilities either like the division with technology or a magic like system like in remnant.

I don’t mind pvp but will be playing solo so a game that is single player or solo friendly is preferred.

I also like character customization so bonus points for having lots of cosmetic options.

I have played witch fire, remnant 1 and 2, metal gear the phantom pain, ghost recon wildlands. I am fine with looter shooters but they can’t be to demanding time wise as my free time is limited.
