hello, I just got news I burnt a client with boiling water and it’s pretty bad while curling the ends of her braids.
i talked to the girls parent and he said it was ok, though the mother was upset(understandabl) , I tried to reimburse and apologize. I was dipping her hair and the water went down her back (of course it’s hot but I wouldn’t have thought it would be that hot to burn skin as the water has gotten on me multiple times), but at the time there no sign of scars nor was she complaining for me to have try to prevent it (not trying to blame it on her), after I apologized and asked her to lean her head back more. this is my first time ever burning someone and I feel bad and I should give up. I never want to be the cause of someone’s pain especially if it scars, I wont be able to live properly for a good while. I’m just already in a crisis and this is the first time I’ve caused such pain and I need to get it out.
