My mom used to work in government for 25 years and served in such committees during Raees Maumoon era for free by the way. She only got the salary for her job.
How is this pay justified? From 7000 to 41000. A minister’s salary to kanmathee aunties who are gonna sit down everyday sip tea, eat hedhikaa and gossip. Great.
Edit: They reduced it to 20000 now it seems. This actually makes it worse. It shows a government with no plan whatsoever which is simply using public reaction to make major decisions. It’s pathetic. This morning when I woke up it was 41000, then after a few hours it reduced to 33000 and now it is 20000.
