Is there any reason for me to “not dismantle” my spare from underneath my 25 LC ? It is highly exposed and I can’t imagine changing this on the side of the road somewhere regardless.
Also worth noting, I live in a sometimes brutal climate…Michigan (mud/snow/).
Just drove by these new looking 80 series land cruisers. As far as I know, they are not sold new in Canada? The condition they’re in looks pretty good if they are imports.
I recently bought not one but 2 almost identical land cruisers. I’d been looking for a bit and came across both and despite my better financial judgment, ended up getting them lol.
This one was out of Arizona with 76k miles! Brought it out to PA and have been mesmerized by how beautiful it is. I’m looking to sell one of the Land Cruisers, put a deposit on a new Porsche 911. Anyone have any insight on bring a trailer or cars and bids? Or should I try a private sale?
I’m considering importing one of these to the US through military orders, so shipping cost isn’t really a concern.
The first is a 1997 Land Cruiser GXR, GCC-spec 80 Series with the 1FZ-FE 4.5L I6, manual, and 391k miles. The asking price is $9,300 USD. I know the mileage is very high.
The second is a 1998 Land Cruiser G, GCC-spec 100 Series with the same 1FZ-FE 4.5L I6, manual, barn door, but only 122k miles. I’m somewhat concerned the mileage may have been tampered with. The asking price is $12,900 USD.
Which one would you buy considering?
Built a sleeping platform for my LX470. I’ve never really built anything before so I was learning as I went. If I could do it again I would build it much lighter. This thing is heavy af lol. It ain’t fancy but by god it’s honest.
