Smart playlists error: missing files? (they are not missing)

Traktor says my tracks in my smart playlists are missing or corrupt when I load them since I've restructed some folders. I have music on both my local hard drive and an external SSD. In the file management settings I've connected the correct folders. However, I can't load them from the smart playlists. When I drag them from the Finder, they're fine.

I've tried running a consistency check and reconnect the folder. Isn't working.

  • Traktor 4 has full disk access (Mac).
  • Yees, the files are there of course.
  • Smart playlists has the right filters enabled.

How do I fix this?

16 day itinerary with car - need advice

Hi! We've rented a 4x4 for 16 days to drive around Kyrgyzstan at the end of August. Our plan is to drive through beautiful valleys and do plenty of day hikes. I find it very hard to judge what's realistic. So I have a few questions. I've put together a rough itinerary.

  • Are there any roads or areas that are in very poor condition and better avoided?
  • Are there any other regions or scenic roads that are worth visiting that I haven't included?
  • Is it worth driving all the way down to the south (Sary-Mogul, Tulpar Lake, Lenin Peak)? Or should we spend the days different?
  • Are there any other day hikes that you would highly recommend? We're definitely doing the 3-day Ala-Kül trek.
  • Do we need to book yurts in advance? If so, what's the best way to do that?
  • We're bringing our own tent (not a rooftop tent). Is camping generally comfortable in terms of nighttime temperatures?
  • Does this route and itinerary seem realistic?

Car rental (trustworthy) for mid-august. Tips?

Hi,

We'll be heading to Kyrgyzstan mid-August. I know companies like Hertz aren't available. I know we're late with booking. I know there are plenty of people renting out private cars.

Suggestions for a trustworthy company to rent a car? Either Bishkek or Karakol

Do I need a 4x4? (Son-Kul, Ala-Kul, Karakol, Ak-Suu, Issy-Kul)

Thanks.

I’ve been eyeing the Sony WH-1000XMX series for a while. The WH-1000XM4 - which seems to be a favorite - is harder to buy these days, but still around for about €200.

The WH-1000XM5 is for sale around €180. It seems the better buy on paper, except for the build quality: I have been reading about the hinge breaking, but I am wondering how big the issue really is. I could use some advice. I will mostly be using it for commute (mostly train), perhaps some gaming and in house.

On a side note: also saw the Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2e for sale for €200. I don’t know the brand, but read good things.

Any long term MX5 users who can give some advice?

(also posted this in the headphones subreddit).

thanks!
