Fresh clear coat peeling off like a sheet

I've been working on fixing up my 2013 Camaro bumper and everything had been progressing about as good as I could have expected, until the clear coat that looked oh so good started to peel up like a clean sheet. 48+ hours after the clear had been sprayed, I was masking off to touch up the bottom of the bumper, I had sprayed that s matte black. This is when I noticed the peel coming up with the tape. Seems like it didn't bind with the base coat of paint. What can I do to prevent this from happening again?

I had fixed up a few cracks and dents with body filler and glaze, sanded them down smooth with 320, scuffed up the rest of the bumper and sprayed a filler primer. Used DipliColor perfect match aerosol ain't and spray painted and finally spraymax 2k clear coat.

You can do it!

Going into this past winter I decided to take on sprucing up the appearance of my 2013 2SS. I had bought a pick up earlier in the year so didn't need the Camaro for every day driving. I had posted some pictures a while back of the issues, a dented hood, a cracked bumper, a bit of corrosion on the rims, etc. nothing too major and all of which I felt within my capacity to take on. While it's taken significantly longer than I'd hoped, I'm in the home stretch. Still work to be done, but wanted to share my journey and experience.

Rims :: stripped ro bare metal, wet sanded 320, 400, 800, 1000, 1500 then metal polished Alumaclear finished. Plan to use a spray on ceramic as a little extra.

Bumper :: Expoxied the crack from behind, body filler in the dented areas and over the crack, glaze on top of those and sanded, scuffed entire bumper with 800 and used DipliColor aerosol to repaint. Next step is 2K clear with SorayMax, waiting for warmer temp. I also sprayed the bottom of the bumper a matte black to give it more of the ZL1 look. Finally, used the aerosol to fix up a deep scratch in the back fender.

Body Kit :: I bought a splitter and skirts, cleaned and scuffed up then matte black aerosol. Will be 2k clear with a matte finish before installing.

Hood Dent :: still working on but might need to body fill/glaze it, it's very stubborn. Will be putting new decal.on over it anyway so, not too concerned eirh rhr finish on it.

Headlights :: Cerakote restore kit, though mine weren't in bad shape.

Other :: will polish the exhaust tips. Ceramic the car in its entirety. Bought smoked LED side markers and installed the rear so far. LED fog lights.

There have been many challenges along the way, and to be honest I keep waiting for something to hit the fan but so far it's come out quite well and been a fun journey!
