My wife’s mom and her parents, September 1967

Mom in law was an absolute peach and her dad was the school of cool. Sadly, I never met my wife’s grandmother, but my wife does bear a significant resemblance.

One year in.

And I still hate cardio, but I cannot deny the benefits. After 7 months of regular guided strength training, I began cardio training. Part of which involves periodic V02max testing, but it actually measures one’s capacity to do strenuous exercise by closely monitoring physiological parameters while performing increasingly strenuous exercise.

I am hardly graceful, but I am significantly stronger than I was a year ago, less prone to injuries, and apparently getting into pretty good shape for anyone, not just some late middle aged guy with CP. After doing this, I did a normal workout, then drove 30 miles home; before this, I did a full day’s work in the lab. Woof!

Watch at your own risk!

The folks at Exercise Science are really good at what they do.I would not be in such condition without their guidance and encouragement.
