ETA procedural fairness letter?

Hi everyone. 40th birthday today not a great way to spend it but hey. I am supposed to be flying to Canada tomorrow with my young son and husband.

My ETa was held up they asked for me to denounce my PR I didn’t know it was still active as I haven’t been in Canada for a long time. I denounced and that was approved THEN 2 days ago I got a procedural fairness letter saying they think I haven’t been truthful answering the question about denial of refusal of a visa of entry to a country. I have absolutely not been denied or refused a visa or entry to a country so I wrote a letter as a statutory declaration confirming that as I haven’t anything else to upload for such a question.

I have been beside myself thinking I will have say goodbye to my 3 yr old tomorrow for almost 3 weeks and miss out on his first big trip to meet his grandparents (husband is Canadian)

Has anyone been through something similar? I need some positive stories. It’s Sunday too and a long weekend in Canada so I don’t know if I’ll hear back for a while I’m crushed. Thank you for reading this far if you have!

14 hour flight with almost 3 year old…tips on survival and sleep

Hi everyone,

I am soon to be travelling on a long haul 14 hour flight that leaves at 10am with my toddler.

I have many many snacks, some mess free games, lower stimulation tv shows, books. I have a kooshi kid I have basically thrown money at whatever I think will help us survive this.

I’m not sure what to do about sleep, do we skip nap and try for an “early bedtime” will he not be tired if he has nap on the plane and no physical activity.

Any help, tips, lived experiences are welcome please and thank you!
