Found an M6 with a 50mm f/2 Summicron V4. Felt a tad ridiculous putting this kind of money into a 36 year old camera. This particular camera was manufactured in 1990. Its top plate has been repaired and repainted, according to the serial it was originally a black-chrome camera. CLA done a couple years back (I’m assuming at the time of the top plate resto). It was done well and looks beautiful. Most importantly the rangefinder is accurate, light meter is dead on, timing is excellent as far as I can tell. Genuinely shocked at how solid and smooth these feel. It’s a lot of money yes, but I expect she’ll give me many years of excellent service.
