A little something i was working on, abandoned, and am currently coming back to

Been sitting on this for over a month now, it Was kind of just an experiment using a spherical main body with some inspiration taken from my other (and much worse) titan models and became a strange hybrid.

still not 100% sure what to call it since my game is implied to take place before Titanfall 1, Current contenders are split between Viper-class and Polaris-class as an implied precursor to northstar, however this could very possibly replacing my existing Wendigo-class as thats still using an older asset.

I've implemented a gun like Titanfall's Smart Pistol in my FPS Game!

Took some contemplation, consideration and a non-insignificant amount of hackery for the implementation of a whole new system to get to this point, but it works!

Been working on a titanfall-like multiplayer movement/mech fps for over 9 months now, have undergone a bunch of major system overhauls, refactors, and change in scope along that period. After a lot of surveying i've begun implementing a boost card system over the weekend, with this being one of the boosts.

my goal with the project is to stay faithful to the original franchise's gameplay while implementing suggestions that i and other titanfall players have, hoping to enter a playtesting cycle soon but a lot has to happen before that point

I'm on a pretty big content grind now that i have planned a closed playtest event (hopefully) happening soon! Alongside making new titan chassis and weapon models (may be posting those titans here in the future) I've been working on new titan abilities to give variety to the game.

While i've had an unguided rocket salvo for ages, i finally took the time to work on a tracking rocket salvo! this is only against one titan, but its capable of tracking multiple titans.

for those out of the loop: i've been working on this game since august of 2025 and it's since gone under massive system refactors, has changed scope massively but my goal is to stay somewhat faithful to the original games while including ideas and addressing annoyances from me, friends, and things i've seen mentioned in the titanfall community. Cannot promise anything, i hope to have a publicly playable build by the end of the year at the latest, with a full game release (possibly with a campaign!) most likely happening in 2027.

as usual i probably won't be posting much about development here to avoid spamming the subreddit (i also just prefer posting gameplay clips here) but i'm quite active on bluesky where i quite often post dev updates.
