EECS Eng students/grads at Lassonde, PLEASE HELP!

I'm in 3rd year Electrical Engineering at Lassonde and I'd really love to graduate as fast as I can.

I'm looking at about 4 semesters to be done. I really wanted to cap my self at 4 courses per smeester but unfortunately, I might have to keep it at 5 courses per semester.

The good news is, 3 out of the 4 remaining semesters will have 4 major/core + 1 capstone/gen ed. So nothing too insane. Only one semester of those 4 remaining semesters will have 5 core courses. The million dollar question, is it doable?

What was your 3rd/4th year like at Lassonde? How was your workload? Any advice for me?

Are layoffs a thing in Electrical Engineering? Have you been laid off as an EE?

Genuine question. Do you, as an Electrical Engineer, fear for the loss of your job? How common are mass layoffs in Electrical Engineering (US/Canada) ?

I'm in the middle of the EE grind at a uni and the only thing that keeps me going is somewhat of a hope in a cushiony and stable life after graduation.

I’ve never seen the city this messy traffic wise. Car accidents literally everywhere. What the hell?

If you’re on the road today, then you know today is not a normal day.

A massive dump truck accident took place on the 403 East right at the underpass of Confederation Pkwy.

This caused traffic to divert to city roads and WOW, WHAT A MESS. Accidents are spotted left and right.

I kept taking a detour after detour and almost every corner I turn into in the southeast part of the city, a scene of a car accident is sighted.

What on Earth is happening? Did people lose their minds all of a sudden? I can’t go anywhere.

We got an in real life experience of a GTA 5 server in Mississauga before GTA 6.
