has anyone applied for the international fee exemption? if so, how long does it usually take to hear back about it? I'm applying as a dependent of a Canadian citizen, and I got an email a week or two ago where they asked for me to resend a document because mine was being processed, but I haven't heard back since then. I need it back before tuition is due in August, and I remember seeing somewhere that it takes 4-6 weeks but I don't remember exactly.

I applied for my study permit a few days ago from the US as an American citizen. The website says I don't need biometrics or any of the other things, and processing time is 4-5 weeks. Has anyone had to wait longer than that? I'm worried it won't come in time. I also didn't know until after that you can apply at the border, so I guess I have to stick with this.

I've had an idea sorta sci-fi but with a vibe I can only compare to visuals from httyd - pretty much an infected and dying monster hunter resurrects the scientist who made the parasite he's infected with- the parasite was made to attack and inhibit the power of the monsters living underground, but never made it past the prototype phase. and then smth about the monsters living underground?
