My adult corn snake (4’ 2”) had a healthy shed 34 days ago. Today i noticed she’s in blue again. Shes been eating and pooping normally, healthy activity level, etc so no abnormal behaviors or signs of stress that I’ve noticed.
Here’s a pic of her 4x2x2 enclosure. Hot side is 81-85°F and cool side is 73-75°. Is it abnormal for her to shed again so quickly after her last or is this not necessarily cause for concern?
Coincidentally, she is scheduled for a general wellness check with her vet this afternoon anyway so I’ll be asking them but curious to what other owners’ thoughts are.
Alduin has been deep in premolt for a couple of months and laid a molt mat last night. She just flipped within the last hour. Fingers crossed it goes smoothly 🥹 female t stirmi
Noticed this mark on her chin/jaw this morning. She was a rescue and has been in my care for a little over a month now. Is this scale rot? She’s acting normal otherwise: good appetite, defecating normally, active. I scheduled a general wellness vet check for her shortly after adopting her and the soonest they had available is next week. Needless to say I’ll be asking about this when i go so please save your “VET” comments. Any ideas what this is, and what to do right now?
Hot side temp/humidity = 80°F, 45%
Cool side temp/humidity = 72°, 50%
Substrate is eco earth/playsand and dry to the touch.
I was offered waffles and now they ghosted me. I guess i won’t be getting waffles after all 😭🧇
I’ve never seen her do this before and I thought it was the CUTEST thing and wanted to share with yall. Happy Friday.
Auriel has been exploring every evening/night and seems to really be settling in well. Enjoy this video of her playing musical hides 🥹
My rescue, Dovah, has been upgraded to a 4x2x2. I think I’m done decking the place out and welcome feedback and constructive criticism if there’s anything y’all see that I should adjust or change. Tia!
