There used to be so many good memes, but now hardly any memes
If you have a meme I’d like to see it
Unlike last year, the Canucks have some serious competition , Calgary’s lineup on paper is a pretty special kind of ass
The Kraken also have little to 0 redeeming qualities, I don’t understand why they think they are a superstar away from being a contender, it reminds me of Vancouver 18 months ago
Blackhawks are ass but idk if the worst
Im going 30 Kraken, 31 Canucks, 32 Flames
The Toronto of Mexico
To preface, I would prefer the Canucks to move on from Hronek this off season for futures, but I get the reason for waiting
If Hronek is digging his feet in with regards to his NMC, it’s a non starter, but *next* off season I believe we see him moved
Why the Canucks hold on to him: they are going to be absolutely dog water this year, they have a good amount of young dman who will definitely benefit from playing with a guy like Hronek, it’s a good long term development play, don’t need to rush off of Hronek right away
Why Hronek leaves next off season: he will only have one more year of a full nmc, if the Canucks articulate to him that they will be moving him upon changing to 15 team ntc, it will be his best opportunity to have a say in where he ends up, it will also be an even more appetizing contract for other teams to handle
For this reason, don’t give him the C
China appears to have a lot of very touristic small town/villages to explore, however, with the tourist infrastructure in place it almost appears to be more of a Disney Land-esque type of destination and not as authentic as I am hoping for, such as Lijiang Ancient Town or Fenghuang Ancient Town
Do you have any recs for lesser known smaller areas closer to nature, that can feel a bit more authentic?
Preferably in Yunnan or Guizhou
Guilin is on my radar
Thank you!
I’ve begun overthinking travel adapters, looking for something reputable that can ideally be used in China, Thailand, Vietnam, and any additional places would be great
Charging a small DJI, MacBook, iPhone, AirPods, nothing crazy, but the Anker 20w seems generally slow
Is anyone familiar with the Ceptics 100w Universal Travel Adapter? It almost seems too good to be true, and it’s not exactly cheap
For context I am Canadian
Thank you!
Your new Head Coach of the Vancouver Canucks
Draft this, draft that, Canucks should make some serious splashes and take on some UFAs to flip
Sales pitch: why come to the worst team in the league? We will pay you xxx, light it up and flip you to a contender (on a two year deal), also the city is pretty nice
Sweetener: you literally get to wing Petey, yes, the Elias Pettersson
Who should they target other then Tuch
During October golden week… experienced in Guiyang?
-Beijing (6 nights/jet lag)
-Shanghai (4 nights)
-Wuhan (2 nights)
-Changsha (3 nights)
-Tongren/Mount Fanjing (3 nights)
-Chongqing (8 nights, travel cool down)
Feel confident up until this point, the rest I am unsure. Will be using trains, especially sleeper trains, my style is backpacking
-Lanzhou (2 nights)
-Xiahe & Langmusi (3 nights)
Really interested in this area, but it messes the natural travel flow. Was interested in Western Sichuan but that’s probably out of the budget, maybe too difficult to navigate on a budget
-Chengdu? (3 nights?)
-Guiyang (3 nights?)
Random fascination with Guiyang
-unknown (3-7 nights)
-Guangzhou (2-4 nights / fly out)
Ideal place for me to fly out from and seems like a cool city, other options are Macau and Shenzhen. My budget makes Hong Kong tough
