Sam and Robb swap places

Let's suppose that in the midst of Robert's Rebellion, Cat gave birth to a Stark-looking boy whom she named Samwell. And that, in contrast, Melessa Florent gave birth to a Florent-looking boy whom she named Robb.

Both grew up as heirs in a martial culture, but since Ned is a much better father than Randyll, I highly doubt Sam would have a hard time. He's still forced to train, but he isn't humiliated.

Randall, for his part, has the heir he always wanted. He's even more than satisfied because he recognizes Robb's skill as a strategist early on.

What do you think would happen in this scenario? Would Ned allow his heir to become a maester? Or would he convince him to be the heir despite his dislike for martial training?

Otherwise, he would get along very well with Sansa, and it's likely that Jon would be his protector.

Robb, for his part, would be better off, although he would be Paxter Redwyne's squire, perhaps betrothed to Desmera, and isolated with Paxter during the War of the Five Kings. He might even accompany the twins to King's Landing and remain there as a hostage.

In any case, he would maintain a good relationship with his siblings, especially Dickon.

So, what do you think or suggest?

Help me with a Lannister OC

In my fic, Tytos forces Tywin to marry to a Ellyn Reyne's daughter in 261, so there's no revolt but rather an uneasy balance in Westerlands. The story will revolve around Roger Lannister, Tywin's eldest son, who will attend the tourney at Harrenhal and is betrothed to Lysa Tully. Tywin is Hand of the King, but he assumed the position later than in canon. Joanna, meanwhile, became pregnant by Aerys, and to conceal this, the Mad King married her off to a Velaryon, who passed off Jaime and Cersei as his children. Aerys, aware of this, betrothed Rhaegar to Cersei after Steffon's death (I need Steffon dead, so I suppose Aerys wanted a better bride than a "bastard" and sent Steffon to Essos, but since he died, he opted for his illegitimate daughter). And well, at the tournament, Cersei takes Elia's place, but I need a way to neutralize Tywin, and it occurred to me that Aerys should imprison him after Rickard's death, forcing the OC to remain neutral. What do you think?

Bartalmay (Havari) ve Bartholomeos (Patrik)

Turkish friends, have you ever called Patriarch Bartholomew as Bartalmay?

I was researching the names of the apostles in Turkish and Bartholomew's is Bartalmay, but the Turkish page of the patriarch is a transliteration of his name in Greek.

Does Bartalmay sound Turkish?

Tywin didn't marry Johanna

Reading another post, I came up with a story where Tywin doesn't marry Johanna but Cyrelle Tarbeck, Ellyn Reyne's daughter.

Let's suppose that in the year 260, after Tytos forced Tywin to release Lord Walderan Tarbeck, they also agreed to a betrothal, one that Tywin reluctantly accepts.

What do you think would happen then? Would Tywin have demanded that his new relatives answer for their crimes? Would the Tarbecks have betrayed the Reyns, and would Tywin only deal with Castamere without killing Ellyn?

P.S.: Another story that occurred to me is one where Tion Tarbeck (Ellyn Reyne's son) joins the Night's Watch and, after learning what happened, fathers a bastard son to take revenge on Tywin.

Jon goes to south/Branda Stark fic

Let's suppose that instead of sending Jon to the Wall, Ned prefers to send him to Amberly with his aunt Brenda, perhaps because Benjen warned him that the Wall wasn't the place for him and that it would be better for him to spend time with his family.

How much would the Wall change? Could Sam survive without Jon's help? Because I thought Randyll Tarly would die in a house accident (poetic justice/karma) and that Sam would become Lord of Hornhill and eventually meet Jon.

In any case, how would the Wall fare without Jon? Jeor couldn't die in his chamber because they never found his body without Ghost, but how long would it take them to realize the Others have returned?

On the other hand, how would Jon fare in Renly's army? I see Renly offering him the title of Lord of Winterfell if Robb doesn't surrender, but I think he would first try to win him over with mercy for Robb, just as he did with Catelyn.

In any case, an important point is that Ghost's presence would prevent the shadow from killing Renly, this in the presence of Cat and Robar Royce, which could make Jon popular and even win Loras's sympathy.

So, what do you think?
