Now that I'm looking closer (and have calmed down a little) it seems like theyre more or less only growing on the dead or dying parts, which I think points more to fungus, but i don't want to bring it back in my house until I'm absolutely sure. The 'hairs' move very easily even just from lifting the pot and get a bit thicker further away from where they attach to the plant. The shape is very similar to a straw cleaning brush.

10 hours of light in my grow cabinet, I've watered it once since I got it a few weeks ago because the soil still felt damp

I had thought a well-meaning family member threw this lithops out a while ago, but turns out it had been shoved behind a larger pot in my cabinet for months. I know it needs to be moved into a proper inorganic substrate and unglazed pot, but I was wondering if I should try and give it water first or not?

Also, should I water it once it's in its new pot, or do I need to wait?

Plant is in VERY bad shape after being neglected due to illness. Been keeping it watered to see if some of those bumps on the stems turn into anything, but I need advice at this point 😅

Also, I had no idea there were tiny pots under the soil until the other day when the pot fell over, and they probably arent helping things. It lives in my grow cabinet with about 10 hours of light

(Page 19 of instructions) Am I missing a piece, or is this tiiiiiny rose supposed to be the same piece (P25) that is clearly wider than the pot in the diagram?

I had a lot of fun with this (aside from failing to shrink the wire covers MULTIPLE times lmao). Knocked out most of it over the weekend and just finished gluing the finished pieces down today.

Also ended up woth some decals that didnt appear in the instruction booklet, so if anyone knows where they were meant to go, please tell me 😅
