Image 1 — Could anyone potentially help me validate or authenticate my late father’s coin collection? I’ve decided to finally go through his belongings after 7 years, and I don’t know what I’m looking at. There is a bunch, but this is the first batch I’m going through.

I want to be clear, I have zero intention of selling anything, I’m more so interested in authenticity and insuring if needed. If they are worth anything I’d probably get a dedicated safe to keep them since I can’t get a box at either my banks because I don’t have any USAA or Navy Federal branches local. He has a bunch of coins I have to go through yet. I bought some round holders and pads, but I’ve never seen most of these and have minimal knowledge on anything. It was a hobby of mine for just collecting interesting pieces, but apparently he did the same over his lifetime.

I appreciate any guidance offered.

Anyone else see this listing and think it's The Beatles?

Every single time I see it, I think the same thing even though I know it isn't.

Went through some stored away things and found my old paintballing case. Take a gander at what has been hiding away.

The 68 Carbine just needed to be cleaned up, but I replaced the O rings and ordered a new ball latch detent since the one that was in there basically didn't exist and what was left crumbled.

The old Yellow markers are swollen and don't fit the barrels anymore, so I ordered the new blue ones and they just roll on down the barrel to the ground like its a free for all, so I need a new ball latch to keep them in place. The yellow ones shoot, but break in the barrel from being swollen, so had to nix using them.

I wanted to take them out to play but the single shot Diablo leaks air no matter what I do, not even with new O rings and greased up. I must be missing something, but it's been so damn long I can't even remember what else it could be that is causing it just dump the tank the second it's screwed on tight. A 48/3,000 PSI tank drains in less than a minute. Luckily I have my scuba tank compressor I can fill them with, so no real problem, but damn if it isn't annoying that with every try it's PSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSH. I spend more time filling them back up than it does to drain them, even if I adjust the pressure thread below the tank nozzle.

The pistol works like a dream still, just wish I could get more than two mags/16 shots per 12gram Co2 canister. You can adjust the strength on the bottom, but that basically gives you a few extra markers and not enough to finish a 3rd mag.

Once I figure out this Diablo's issue, if I ever do, I'll be taking my kids outside to let them get a feel for what life used to be like nearly 3 decades ago. Have to admit, I got a bit of nostalgia when holding them again. I instantly wanted to go play manhunt.

Wish me luck!
