Question about math skills in BIM

Hi, im switching careers in my 40s from graphic design to BIM (for obvious reasons) and have enrolled in a 2 year community college course. So Maths was never my strong suit back in high school, I wanna ask how much of a handicap will that be for me ? Is the job actually math heavy ?

Until now I´ve only used MPCs as a production tool, never a live tool. Now I want to play my next gig on the MPC One (first gen) as a standalone device, and I´m looking for the cleanest way to make a big project that can hold 5-6 songs that I can then play with live.

What I want is minimal, essentially to be able to have the each song separated into 3-4 tracks, being able to blend seamlessly into the next song, and I want the Qlinks to be locked into one filter and one phaser on the percussive and sample based track of each song that i am going in and out of; so Essentially im looking for a DJ-esque setup with some track separation.

Finding advice on exactly this has not been successful and AI is completely useless so if here is someone willing to take the time to write up the steps i would be very grateful .
