Sewing Denim Jeans

Hi everyone, I had a question for the sewing community! I recently purchased some new wrangler jeans and realized that on big kid sizes the pocket spacing is quite large! Makes the butt look flat. I was wondering if it would be better to move the pockets inward more or make wider pockets? Or would the wider pockets look too weird? Kind of leaning to bigger pockets since it could cover up the old stitch holes.

Taking in Wrangler 13mwz Seat

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone has taken in the wrangler 13mwz seat? I wear a size 40-42 waist but the larger size jeans move the pockets so far apart that it makes me look wider and doesn’t look flattering on my, umm, bum lol. Would taking in the seat and moving the pockets closer solve my issue?

Dan Post Boarhide boots

Hi everyone,

I was wonder if anyone has purchased a pair of Dan Post boarhide boots before? Could you tell me how the fit was? How was the break in process? Was it like cowhide or was it more stiffer? Some say it stretches some say it doesn’t. Thank you!

If you’re looking for insoles for flat feet!

Check out the Birkenstock A630/A640 insoles. They are leather and cork and will mold to your foot. They are stiff at first but will break in. I have flat wide feet and I could never get my boots to fit right. Most insoles wouldn’t fill that void under my arch or I would get bad heel pain but now these are a life saver for me. Just thought I would share and maybe this will help someone else that is also struggling. Also the power step maxx is also a good contender but needed to put a flat leather insoles under the insole.

FP Insoles Return

Has anyone here returned any FP insoles? What was your return process like? Because they emailed me an address to ship it to instead of a return label. Has anyone else had this happen?
