Hello, folks

Started the job of replacing injector washers in my 2013 2.2d and can't finish it because the two middle injectors are stuck as fuck. 1 and 4 came out no bother, but can't for the life of me release 2 and 3.

I tried with the pry bar. Can't go any more aggressive with that or I'll break the valve cover.

I made a custom slide hammer from threaded rod and a lump of wood.

When that didn't work, I held the wood at the top and used a mallet to knock it out upwards, no joy.

I've used some diesel injector cleaner around the bore to try and loosen it got the time being. I don't have penetrating oil but I'm going to get some tonight or tomorrow.

Just looking for any advice or anecdotes that worked for people.
