5 weeks post op (septorhinoplasty)

-Slide 1-2 was before
-Slide 3 was immediately after cast removal (day 6)
-Slide 4 was a week later after I got my tape removed (I was retaped after the cast removal)
- Slide 5 was the following week for another post op (day 22ish)
- Final slide is today (week 5)

I’m super happy with the process and the result and I’ll probably post 1000 more times throughout my healing process. I love to answer questions and give advice to people who are considering the surgery. It’s genuinely the best decision I’ve ever made

I can breathe much much better as well despite all the internal work

Monstera advice

I bought my monstera in January and it had only like 4 leaves. Now that it’s grown a lot do you think I should get one of these poles for it to climb? I know monsteras are natural climbers but does it make a bigger difference?

Septorhinoplasty day 8

I got a septorhinoplasty with nasal valve resection and bilateral turbinate reduction (aka I got the works) on July 9th. My nose was crooked as seen in pic 4 and you don’t need me to explain how my nose was aesthetically less than ideal lol

Pics 1-4 are all beforehand

Cast removal day (septorhinoplasty)

Pics 1-4 are pre-op over the years

I had a septorhinoplasty with bilateral turbinate reduction with nasal valve resection on July 9th

From a young age, I was always teased about my nose and to be honest it really messed with my confidence and self-esteem. My nose was crooked had an extremely large dorsal hump. And was downturned. I also had a very difficult time breathing without making noise and that was because my nasal valve was pretty collapsed.

My surgeon had told me that I’m a very difficult those to operate on which kind of freaked me out but postop he said that everything went really well and he took quicker with me that he expected, which is nice

Long story short this was a long time coming, and I think it looks really good even with all of the swelling still at its peak!!

Ones man trash is another man’s treasure

Last October (in zone 7a) I rescued this beautiful majesty palm from the side of the road in a garbage bag (pic 1), took it on a little cart (pic 2) and put it int my “indoor greenhouse” with my other plants for the winter. Fast forward to today (pic 4) I’ve seen unreal growth and an extremely happy palm. For the reputation these guys have for being difficult to maintain indoors he was lucky I was driving by that road on that day!

Another palm saved! Palms aren’t seasonal in my eyes!!
