My Vi Prepaid number is in my father's name and would rather not take him to the store due to his erratic behaviour.

When I enquired with the store some months back about changing name, they said Postpaid is needed and to bring the original owner to the store with their document and my document too.

Can porting to another operator ie. Airtel be done in my name without father's involvement?

I've seen posts about people porting their numbers not in their name successfully but still have to ask.
