Jellyfin's default subtitle setting is broken for external srt files
I don't want jellyfin to play subtitles for cartoons or certain kids movies.
So if its an mkv file I edit the meta data so the srt file is not default and if its an external srt file i just have the suffix ".en.srt" with no "default" in it.
However when I go to profile > subtitle > subtitle mode and click default, I expect it to do what I mentioned above, but instead it turns on subtitles for any content that has an external srt subtitle file, even if its not marked as 'default'.
I was searching around and it seems that this may be because jellyfin will treat any external srt file as default? So far my mkv files with embedded subtitles work as expected and will not display a subtitle.
I know this is minor, but any chance this can get a fix?

Toddlers bump on the head at ABA therapy
LOCATION: Texas
my 3 year old goes to ABA therapy and today we were notified he fell and bumped his head. I have no reason to doubt the story but I would like to verify that is indeed what occurred. my 3 yo is non verbal autistic and cant speak for himself.
The facility says they cannot share the video bc it would violate HIPAA laws.
What can I do for peace of mind?
I called the non emergency police line to see if they could help view the footage as a neutral third party but so far no action has been done
