Hey everyone, I was originally planning to take Statistical Methods, but I just found out that it doesn’t actually meet my Business requirement. Now I’m trying to register for Statistics, and the only section I can find is with Professor Taree, Davood.

I checked Rate My Professor and the survey ratings, and honestly, the ratings are pretty bad 😭. So I wanted to ask people who have actually taken the class:

• How is the professor overall?
• Is the material easy to understand/ Is the class difficult?
• How are the exams/homework?
• Is attendance required or can you get by without going to every class?
• Overall, would you recommend taking this professor?

Please be honest because I’m trying to figure out if I should take this class or look for another option. Thanks!

Hey everyone! I'm going into my sophomore year this fall as an Accounting major, and I'm trying to figure out the whole internship process.

I've been hearing that for some accounting internships, you actually need to start applying during the summer, and I honestly have no prior knowledge about how any of this works. I really want to land an internship during my sophomore year (or at least for next summer), but I'm not sure when I should start applying, which companies I should be looking at, or where I should even be searching.

I know a lot of people say internships are more common during junior year, but lately I've been hearing that it's better to start as early as sophomore year, and I don't want to miss out on any opportunities.

I don't have any internship experience yet, but I'm willing to learn and I'm open to pretty much anything in my field as I am still exploring. I'd rather get a paid internship, but honestly I'd even consider an unpaid one if it meant getting some experience.

If anyone has been through this before, I'd really appreciate any advice. When did you start applying? What companies should I look into? Is it realistic to get an internship as a sophomore with no experience?

For anyone who’s taken Intermediate Accounting and Intro to Managerial Accounting, how were they overall? Difficulty level? Workload/exams? Anything I should be prepared for?

Also, btw has anyone had these professors? Medients, Ann & Lee, Kyungha. How are they in terms of teaching, grading, and exams? Would you recommend them?
