The PS2 Fat console was displaying video and the Matrix chip logo appeared, but it just stayed there—it wouldn't boot up. Since I wasn't going to use DVDs to play games, I decided to remove the chip by desoldering each joint carefully (without lifting the traces and making sure to clean the board).

Then I put it back together and turned it on, but now it has no video or audio.

I literally know absolutely nothing about the Wii—I only know it from the controller. It’s always caught my eye, but I’ve never tried it. What accessories should I look for to make sure it’s a good buy, and at what price?

I’m asking because some sellers don’t include the Wii Remote or the Nunchuk, and I want to know what I should check to make sure everything is in order. Basically, I need a complete buying guide 😅
