Said goodbye to my girl 7/29

This was that hardest decision I’ve ever had to make. We had been inseparable since February 2010. She was born on Monday 12/21/2009 on my 9th birthday. I named her Monday because of that. Ever since I could talk i BEGGED for a dog. I didn’t care what kind, age, anything. I just knew i wanted a dog more than anything. Because of all my allergies to the various pets my parents tried to satisfy me with before her and i had to give away after developing allergies for the, they settled on a bichon for the hair type and low allergens.
Taking care of her is all i know. and it’s absolutely devastating trying to go through my day without her there. She had many health issues and in that last week I could see that the medications she was on weren’t going to be able to make her comfortable any longer. In her last 3 days her breathing became more laborious and I just couldn’t let her suffer and risk her having a medical emergency. She had and was medicated for seizures, cushings, heart murmur/enlarged heart, and arthritis. I’m so grateful that despite all of her issues she could still have a great last day. She was so strong, stubborn, spunky, and an absolute fiend for fruit and pizza. She got an extra special slice on her last morning. She was truly the coolest. Rest well my baby🩷

What😭

I know these dolls are controversial because of the AI but i was so excited for the size. I preordered months ago. So sad!! I’ve never had this happen before. Does this just mean that I will get my money back and it’s as if I never even bothered to pre-order anything?

Sticky!!

Im super new to print making.
I just carved these yesterday and was doing some test prints, rinsing them off, carving away missed spots. I did that a couple times for each piece and even though i thought i cleaned them good(and like immediately after stamping) with dawn and warm water, the surface was staying SO sticky afterwards! I used just black liquitex acrylic paint which im not sure was ok to use, and some weird baby safe ink that i had in my desk just to see how they were coming along. I cleaned everything before using a different medium so i dont THINK the ink and paint mixed.
but the only thing that would get them un-sticky was a LOT of rubbing alcohol and gentle cleaning. The paint was balling up AND smearing. It was like the worst sticker residue removal

If anyone has experienced this before and knows how i can never repeat whatever mistake i made, please lmk😩 they were a total smeary mess to clean
