Since my (35F) formal diagnosis (TTT) last year I’ve had 3 drs immediately dismiss the diagnosis and say no it’s not and 3 who didn’t doubt it at all. You might be shocked to know, the 3 who don’t believe it, all men. and the 3 who did believe it, all women. Curious of others experiences, what’s it been like with other doctors for you since your diagnosis?
Wondering if anyone else experiences this-it’s now happened 4 times to me where a nurse is trying to take my blood pressure and gets something very low (like 50/30) or the machine can’t get a reading. I’m wondering if it’s related to my neck position or I’m tensing my shoulder too much. These were different clinics, different machines, different nurses.
I was diagnosed with TOS several years ago but they basically told me to do PT and sent me on my way. I have an appt with a new dr in a few weeks and wondering if this might be relevant information.
