I am air 380 in gate cse this year and always wanted to join the forces but had the technical path complete my btech from govt college and now was planning to join iit mtech cs but the notification came out as a sudden breeze of a old dream. It will be my first ssb and any veteran here who could navigate the start for me would be great

Was just curious seeing placement mtech cse? High chances i join this year.

I need some genuine guidance ...if anyone could help

My research

iit roorkee

has made positive changes

1. no attendance policy now

2. small size so placements are good and also improving from past years

3. coolest mountaineering club..i am into trekking n all so love it

Guwahati

1. most peacefule and serene among top 7

2. not mtech btech bhasad

3. no cheating in placement process ( positive for some and negative for some)

4. 12-13 unplaced this year but just a yearly thing still strongest contendor for me among above options

Kgp

1. bad food and some favourism

2. too much crowded hostels

3. but placement negates eveything (max comapnies visit here)

4. for me if i get kgp ( ill

take it over roorkee and guw) kyuki ghar paiso se hi chalega ...hard for me kgp at 38x rank

Hyd

1. killing spree going on ...hyd is doing great and evolving very fast

2. new but considerable

3. placement at par with roorkee ...slightly less than guw but still considerable distance from kgp

4. only issue is trust...it is great but still old 7 is old 7

If i dont get any of above 4 it is nit trichy for me...in these uncertain times the legacy and alumni network will work very much in favour

Kgp>guw>roorkee=hyd

Would love to know your views?

Robotic has at present minimal scope but wadwani school have a reputation to maintain

Wanted info about placement,opportunities for mtech ai at iitkgp? Curriculum is more research focussed what i have heard .

Ai will surely boom in upcoming years
