Need help understanding a card from my Wretched Hive set.

Need help understanding a card from my Wretched Hive set.

I bought me a copy of the Wretched Hive box, and it came with this card.

But I'm having trouble understanding how to use it. It specifically mentions "Sling and Stone attack," but none of the characters have an attacked listed as such? Not sure if I'm just dumb and missing something, or what.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is Legends a slow burn?

I've started reading the Legends trilogy for the first time (I know, bad nerd), and I gotta say, I'm struggling. I'm eight chapters into Time of the Twins, and it feels like a bit of a slog thus far. Like nothing meaningful has really happened, y'know?

And maybe it's because I was never a fan of Raistlin, but I feel like I ate up Chronicles and Lost Chronicles, while here I'm sort of meh thus far. Crysania is kinda annoying, Caramon being a drunkard is grating, and it feels like they keep talking about how amazing and awesome and powerful Raistlin is. Like, on the verge of just jerking him off the whole time.

Do they pick up? Am I being unfair here? I'm just struggling, but I keep hearing how good these books are, and how important they are to the story of Krynn.

Where does the SDF Macross get so many fighters from?

I'm rewatching the OG Macross, and something occurred to me: where do they get so many Valkyries and Destroids from? Like, we see numerous Valkyries get shot down in basically every battle (mostly due to reused footage), but they always seem to have plenty to spare. Especially in the earlier part of the show when they're cut off from Earth, you'd think every loss of a fighter or Destroid would have a real impact.

Are they able to build them on the Macross itself? Do they have that sort of manufacturing ability?

Or am I simply overthinking a 40+ year old cartoon?

Kitiara post War of the Lance

So, I've never really ventured beyond the original Chronicles trilogy, with the exception of reading Legend of Huma and the Dragon's of a New Age trilogy.

But the set up for Kitiara at the end of Spring Dawning has me wanting more, and to see how her story unfolds. Which books cover that? I know the Legends trilogy is basically all Raistlin and Caramon, but does she put in appearances there? Everything post WotL is kinda a haze to me as there are so many books to try and figure out what goes where in the timeline.

Appreciate the help!

I remember too many books.

Just finished my first re-read of the Chronicles trilogy in probably a couple decades (yes, I'm old), and I found myself sitting here being very confused.

I distinctly remember Khellendros being a major antagonist, and that he fought a red dragon and all these things that just never happened (hell, they never even call him by his real name in the Chronicles books), and I thought I was losing my mind.

One quick trip to the wiki later, and turns out I'm remembering the Dragons of a New Age trilogy. So I was right that those things happen! Just several trilogies down the road. Good to know I'm just old and confused and not making things up.

Anyway, thought y'all might enjoy a laugh at my expense.

A Bumpy Ride demo vs. full game

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone could help me with something.

I recently watched a YouTube video on A Bumpy Ride, and it looks like my kind of game. So I downloaded the demo to give it a whirl. Now, I know my laptop isn't as powerful as this person's gaming desktop, but it felt significantly slower and like the game was a little more chuggy, if that makes sense?

Does anyone know if this is just a case with the demo? I know I've tried other demos and had them not perform as well as the actual game.

My specs on my laptop are an AMD Ryzen 7 5700U with Radeon graphics, which I know isn't ideal for a lot of gaming, but it handles other stuff that seems like it would be more hardware intensive than this.

Appreciate any help.

Are all the Lost Chronicles books this badly edited?

I decided to re-read the Chronicles trilogy because I wanted some good nostalgia. Upon doing some research I discovered the Lost Chronicles, and I love the idea of books that fill in some of the gaps between the books of the original trilogy. I plowed through Autumn Twilight, and then dove into Dwarven Depths.

And, my god, the editing is rough. Spelling mistakes, words missing entirely, dialogue mashed together without proper spacing. I'm an amateur writer, and I understand sometimes mistakes happen, but surely these went through professional editing at some point? How did so many mistakes make it through?

It didn't detract from my enjoyment of the story (although I feel like Dwarven Depths ended pretty abruptly), but are they all like this? When I get to Highland Skies should I be prepared for the same sort of lackluster editing?
