Potty in the closet

I posted a few days ago that my 21 month old did NOT want to use the potty. Well after noticing she had accidents in the closet often I moved her potty into her closet and VOILA, she now poops and pees at home when prompted. But only in the closet, has anyone experienced something similar? I’m okay with it because we are having very few accidents at home, zero today for the first time. But when and how do i move her out to the bathroom? How much time would be ideal for her to get used to it enough? Also, how long until she starts wearing undies? 😅 She’s been free ballin at home since starting potty training about a week ago

Help

I have been slowly introducing the potty to my 21 month old since she was 18 months old. This past week her sitter has been having her sit in the potty but she pees every where else. Last weekend at home she peed in the potty 3 times in one day only if i dipped her feet in water and gave her bubbles. Today however, i decided to go all in. No tv. Just hands on activities. 4 times she started peeing standing up saying “oh no!” And i carried her to her potty where she continued until she fully emptied. Another 2 times were full accidents and didn’t make it to the potty at all. And only 1 time she actually peed fully after I bribed with a lollipop. That was the last time she peed in the potty, it seemed like she had to go #2 and did NOT want to go in the potty at all. I put a pull up on to give her some relief and she took it off, then I tried the potty again and it was a big NO. She then continuously had meltdowns and peed on the floor, then it was bedtime and back on a diaper for the night.

I am STRESSED after today. Should i keep going tomorrow? Is this progress?

Potty training

Hi all, we are training our 21 month old girl and after initial resistance she finally willingly sits in the potty. After a long week of sitting for 5-10 min and only peeing after standing up she finally peed in the potty! I tried the bubble blowing method and it works every time.

My worry is, we still use pull ups, could that affect her if we keep them while training her? The only reason we aren’t having her bare bottomed is because she had sprained her ankle when she peed and slipped last week since my house has only tile and no carpet.

Has anyone successfully potty trained while using pull ups?
