One of my favorite paintings
Hopper's Nighthawks
I've been hesitant to part with this card until "just the right profile" appeared - off to Ukraine today!

"I am a teenager. Could you please describe the taste of wine?" Ended up having to put a lot of thought into that Hurray message - hope it was understood!
My great-grandmother purchased a lot at Woodlawn (Bronx, NYC) in 1912. I expressed interest, so am now invited to the annual meeting (on her behalf); my father's living cousins would be ahead of me, but I doubt they care. Anyone else "own" a lot by descent?
Booked a pickup order online today opting for zero tip, because, well ... pick up! I give my name, an employee gets the order (from the back). Then, the cashier at the counter presents me with a slip to sign , of course including a tip line. I balk, she responds " 'They' like to have it this way (or somesuch)." I repeat firmly, "I paid earlier online." She relentlessly with basically "Ok, fine (just go!)."
About to start sending from the third book of these photos I've bought! This one is at Wrangell, Alaska.
this was the best I could manage!
The Writerie (via Etsy) appears to be on clearance at the moment, so only their cards that haven't sold well are available. These and other cool cards appear discontinued.
so, I sent a museum card with these shoes from 125 years ago.
I went through all of my cards, deciding on this one for them. Hope this gives the teacher a chance to talk about our Halloween holiday!
A German member asked for 'kitsch' so this is what I'm sending.
I've decided to start taking people at their word with this artwork. However, I'm still convinced that's sometimes more stated as a gesture than really true.
First time sending one of these, using the other Boston show stamp this time.
I'm looking for peoples' experiences with exactly what has happened to you after being told to pay upfront? Did the provider file the claim for you (as already paid), or did you have to send it in to Medicare yourself?
Has Medicare forwarded the remaining balance to your supplement carrier, with them paying you without needing to contact them yourself? Or, did you have file again to get the 20% back (or the balance with Plan G)?
Thanks in advance!
Not at all a card I'd want, but hoping this one works for them!
Like many Americans, this stamp means a lot to me, so I was thrilled they had it at my post office yesterday. However ... for Postcrossing purposes, it's a bit disconcerting that our foreign friends might not be interested? Anyone else at all concerned about that?
They expressed a strong interest in the subject, I checked the wall for a possible duplicate, so this is what they're getting!
Off to India ... I'll have to purchase more matching stamps soon!
