I first noticed these small patches appearing last year as I was in the darkest part of my entire life, as I have suffered from severe anxiety and depression for years in which last year culminated in multiple hospital visits.l I have greatly improved over the past year and stopped paying attention to them as I was trying to get over my health anxiety, but recently I noticed that they seem to be spreading and have become more visible. They contrast heavily with the rest of my face.
