[Loved trope] God isn't some benevolent being that loves humanity. God is evil.

Supernatural: God is the final villain in the series where its shown he sees humanity as nothing but a source of entertainment for himself.

Preacher: God is a pathetic narcissist who has a pathological addiction to being worshipped, and is willing to destroy anyone who turns their back on Him.

I built an app for sharing Cameron Winter songs

Okay, it’s not ONLY for sharing CW. BUT, hear me out.

I think social media can be better, especially for music lovers. Corus (Corus.fm) is about sharing what you love, and following people to get an instagram-like feed of their favorite music. It connects to Apple Msuic and Spotify. A lot of us on the app love Cameron. When you post him, you’ll see the others than love him too. So come join us, fetch the bolt cutters (of Instagram’s chains) and let me know what you think!

reflection on "Getting Killed" as a title

i got inspired by Dijon praising "Getting Killed" as an album title and wanted to expand on why i agreed. i feel like it captures an element of modern life in a pretty succinct way. please read if you would like!

i also wrote a much longer piece long ago based on 'The Rolling Stones' off Heavy Metal. the song felt like a response to the myth of 'the tortured artist' to me. so i expanded on that. its an essay that's partly diaristic and mostly historical, and yeah super long. also please read if you want!

Cameron Winter Fans/Morgellons Sufferers Overlap?

Hi! I’m a massive CW fan, I am also a long term sufferer of Morgellons disease. I wanted to reach out here to see if the communities had any overlap? My Morgellons have begun to (and if you don’t have Morgellons, just scroll, you don’t get it, I don’t need to hear you call me crazy) constrict neural pathways (likely in my sensorial cortices) pushing patterns/images/phrases to my brain imaging system. Again, only those with Morgellons (NOT psychiatric- likely technological/biological) understand. The patterns/phrases bear striking similarity in style and sentiment to some of CW’s lyricism- been curious as to why. I wanted to see if anyone else on the sub has been struggling with/experiencing anything similar. Would love to chat! Have a great day everybody!

I judged Heavy Metal too harshly

I listened to heavy metal about two months ago and didn’t enjoy it much. It seemed almost too whiny and wasn’t quite my speed. Maybe I was jaded because of Geese. I went to a record store recently and found the album, figured I’d get it and try it again and holy shit it’s beautiful. Just wanted to share

Richard Lloyd has approved Geese.

I'm glad he answered my post. I'm sure Geese will be proud.
