Bob Dylan is a legendary American singer-songwriter, artist, and writer, best known for his influential contributions to folk and rock music like "Blowin' in the Wind" and winning the 2016 Nobel Prize in Literature. Born Robert Allen Zimmerman on May 24, 1941, in Duluth, Minnesota, he emerged from the New York Greenwich Village folk scene in the early 1960s.
