Steal a little and they throw you in jail. Steal a lot and they throw you in jail for a bit longer.
Bob dylan if he had actually read how law courts work.
Would you assume Bob's next album to be AI-free?
If Bob released a new album tomorrow, would your default assumption still be that it’s entirely written by him (without any AI involvement)?
Or has the recent Patreon discussion changed that?
Is It Possible Bob Tours as a Joke?
I’ve seen him live recently and in the 2010s. Neither show would be acceptable by any other artist in terms of quality or in seeming to not care. I love the man and his music but it made me wonder if the whole tour is at this point a joke on the audience to see how bad he can make it while still having fans falling down to say it was actually good.
Last night, Bob Dylan stretches his knee with a leg extension, turns and faces the audience with a half grin, half unzips his jacket and half smiles again, hands above head clapping in ecstasy, puts his hand on his hip then turns and leaves
When you listening to a 2000s-2020s dylan album and then he says some shit like "skibidi yes i watch the news 67 i know this celebrity" and then goes back to rambling about the 50s
I can't believe this abomination is already 6 years old.
Charlie Sexton and Donald Hermes
just bought this
shoutout to David O'Keefe. that dude has tons of great art like this. here's the link in case anyone else is interested:
https://davidokeefe.com/products/tribute-to-bob-dylan
(this is not an ad. i just think this guy's art is sick and wanted to share)
info from the site:
"The Bob Dylan piece is done with the same technique as Clint Eastwood. Everything in the image is sculpted except the clouds. The art was commissioned by Village Voice for their annual "Pazz and Jopp'' critics poll, in which "Love and Theft'' was picked as the best album for 2001. There are references from Dylan's songs in the image, particularly "High Water'' and "Summer Days.''
Actors who catch strays in a song for no reason?
Who in their of right mind would listen to this shitty version while they could be listening to the greatest song of all time?
UNCUT GREATS - BOB DYLAN: NEW “BOOKAZINE” OUT TODAY
I’m looking forward to receiving my copy of Uncut Greats Issue 6: Bob Dylan, which goes on sale today, 26 June.
According to the publishers: “The latest Uncut Greats celebrates Bob Dylan, who turns 85 this June… The full story. The greatest music, ranked. And great Bob stories from Sir Paul McCartney, Elton John, Dave Grohl, Van Morrison and many, many more… “.
(Dylan’s birthday in June? Here’s hoping the editorial is more accurate than the website promo text.)
I’ll be reviewing Uncut Greats on DYLAN BOOKS just as soon as it drops through my letterbox.
