David Lynch Smoking on Fire Walk With Me Film set
Anyone else feel the outro to Bold as Love is the greatest guitar solo of all time?
Not one of the greatest, THE greatest guitar solo of all time. Not a single note that didn't need to be there. Audio effects that propel from this world to whatever world that song is native to. Whatever cosmic castle that is.
It's the first guitar solo by Hendrix that actually left me speechless and still have not heard a more perfect guitar solo.
Anyone have examples of people living or history who fulfilled the categorical imperative?
I'm interested to see if there's someone who meant something to anyone to an extent that their actions/mode of being would be just as fine being a universal law.
In my research so far, it seems someone with a similar reputation would most unanimously agreed to be Mr. Rogers. He's someone I've seen the largest amount people say something like "If only more people could be like him." But I want to ask fellow Kantians to really get to the meat and potatoes of this question.
Specialization allowed! If someone to model every aspect of your life after is too broad, you can narrow down just career, fashion, etiquette, art style, etc.
thanks in advance,
K bye!
The most underrated, funniest character in KN history
The way every time he talks makes the situation worse, yet never saying more than 5 words at a time 😂
His whole argument with Lisa caused me physical pain from laughing
"Those pictures only look better than my food because mine are taken close up and the other food is taken from far away" 😂😂
How's it possible for 1.3 hours of chaotic reality TV program still not be enough material?
I'm honestly sad being done watching the La Galleria 33 episode. I have this strange feeling in my bones asking me where's more material? where's one more episode of this? etc.
I laughed so hard I had trouble breathing and was in pain at certain points of this episode. Would rather not spoil it for those that haven't seen it yet...
My Nick Mason solo album tier list. What would you rate my taste? Any room I should reconsider?
As much as I feel for Pablo, his delivery of "They think I'm the stupid." will never not be hilarious.
He doesn't say stupid. He says THE stupid like he's some folkloric cryptid or SCP 😂😂💀💀
As a huge buckethead fan, really warmed my heart to read this. (An update written by Coming Alive after Bucket's appearance on the podcast.)
I've found a thriving life with ADHD requires a lot of forgiveness. How do you forgive yourself when others won't?
The most frustrating part of having ADHD is sooo many people think you are performing the worst parts of ADHD (losing things, procrastinating, preference to unhealthy diet, forgetting to pick up after yourself) on purpose. This was especially difficult as a child when you don't even know yourself yet and literally need other people to help with that at that stage. It destroys your self-esteem once you start believing the misconceptions people are convinced of you.
The world has moved in a much more accepting, understanding direction for those with ADHD including myself compared to 10-15 years ago, but I believe we are still very far behind. I still don't believe the larger population is even close enough to fully comprehending ADHD as a biologically inherited disability rather than a moral failure, behavioral rebellion, and profound misjudgment of the world.
Thank you.

From the Wikipedia of Giles Corey. That last sentence is the most badass thing I've ever read...
Can we talk about how freaking angelic this song is?
The one hendrix song I keep returning to. It's so simple but exciting at the same time. One of those songs that doesn't sound like it's of this world. It came from somewhere else. It honestly feels like the song that will welcome me to the afterlife when my time comes.
Sorry for being dramatic. Obviously love this song.
Does Anybody Else Feel Profoundly Sad When Witnessing Cute or Innocent Things?
(CALLING PEOPLE IN PSYCHOLOGY/THERAPISTS)
What are the most common reasons people like me feel profoundly sad when witnessing cute and innocent things?
Ever since I was in 4th grade (earliest I could recollect) I noticed this strange behavior/phenomenon where whenever I would see something very cute and innocent I immediately feel very sad and more often than not, am even greeted with urges to cry. The two most specific incidents I remember throughout my life (both when I was a kid) was when I watched the kid cuisine commercial that featured penguins and the penguin brought home peaches and his parents asked him what he had and he verry happily and cheerfully said "Peaches!" I feel like crying just typing that down. Another was when I saw another commercial of a dog playing with his toy by the river. The dog grabbed the toy with its mouth and it made an adorable squeaky sound and I felt very sad after watching that too.
As an adult, this still happens to me but it's different details. This mostly happens when I look at people working very menial jobs just to make ends meet or when I see people trying to fit in but failing. One incident as an adult in particular was when I was at a thrift store and I ask someone working there a question and she said she hardly knew English and needed assistance just to answer my question. I remember crying in my car feeling so gutted at shit she must have endured, shit people have said to her just doing her best working at a job where she doesn't have the language entirely down yet.
I am a little desperate for an explanation on this. The details is all I will give on my end. I understand psychopathological behaviors are all about details but it would comfort me greatly if someone out there at least could explain common reasons this happens using a possible large amount of people and examples as data to show those explanations.
Thank you infinitely for reading. It was emotionally very difficult just writing this down and recollecting. Even if nobody has an answer. I hope someone has read this feeling inspired.
(I can't find any other subreddit which will accept this)

Watched almost every episode of HK, the S5 Bar Mitzvah episode is the best episode of all time.
Literally not a single boring minute during the whole episode. From Ben getting over excited at cooking for 'his people' and Paula getting irritated by it, Koi and Lacey, who usually had less-than-perfect attitudes, were unusually cheery and lively this episode. The start of the Andrea and Carol rivalry, the cheekiness of the fruity party planner made the red team almost enjoy their punishment, the rivalry between JP and Francisco at it's peak, Francisco dropping the Bar Mitzvah cake in front of the whole restaurant, pissing off the usually charming JP, a cameo from the Harlem Globetrotters among other things...all in the same episode.
Hell's Kitchen CMV: Dafne is overhated
I genuinely don't understand the mass dislike towards Dafne. From what I've gathered, it's either her personality and shoving her nationality down everyone's throat (which is far from the worst or most annoying thing a chef in HK has done) or that she is somehow a neo-Virginia from S2 which is not really a comparison for me. She was a talented chef (had one of the best dishes of the season on episode 14), and she was a very composed and attentive leader in the finale. The only thing I can sortofkindofidk get behind is her Italian accent, but keep in mind this show has also had Scotley S18, Frank S15, and Tiffany S3.
I just don't see her on the same level personality wise as Alyssa or cooking wise as Ileana, which I have seen others do here.
What's the name of the band that made this album?
I saw the cover art online somewhere and thought it looked cool, so I checked out the music. It sounds an awful lot like Penis Food. Especially Asinine. Asinine sounds just like the chorus of Cumming and Dumb. Anything helps. God bless.
What the hell was S17 Jared's problem?
Jared's final service in S17 was so surreal. He blatantly lies about a cut and is put in a humiliating situation, being confronted about it in front of his team, and he does not seem bothered in the slightest. It also amazes me how his team kept a straight face at him after that service and during his plea. He still kept to his cut story after being eliminated but never showed his cut. My only conclusion was he really, really wanted to go home but didn't want to be seen as a quitter, so he underperformed on purpose.
