Immediate thought is that this seems very Previously Nominated For-heavy, and disappointingly dominated by the major publishers (FIVE from Penguin??), but perhaps that's what you get when half your judging panel is famous for something very much other than literature?

Has anyone seen cans of the Sapporo Evangelion 30th anniversary collab (see pic) in a konbini or supermarket recently, especially in Kyoto or Tokyo in the last couple of days? Trying to snag a few cans for souvenirs (and drinking, obvs) before I leave Japan next week.

Do you want a ticket to see The Hottest Band on Earth next Monday night in London? Because I can make that happen!

I have a spare GA ticket, going for cost price and not a penny more (that's £23.10). Only snags are:

1. I got my tix in the first release before the venue upgrade, which means there's no way for me to transfer the ticket to you beforehand (see second image above). That means you'll have to meet me out front of the venue so we can walk in together.

2. I can't make it to the venue til 8ish, so we probably won't be up the front and might miss some of the opening set.

3. I'd prefer to sell this to someone who *doesn't* have a ticket to any of their other gigs - we gotta spread the French Canadian love around. Obviously I can't check this, but if you lie to me then just prepare for the ghosts of Khn and Klek to *haunt the shit out of you*.
