I'm having a lovely time playing about making entirely unnecessary but very enjoyable art. Since Reddit / Facebook etc seem to be a hive of art theft I've purposely made it low res (as I did for the Miffy de Poitrine laptop stickers).

Possibly aliens don't use a postal system that's similar to those on Earth but I decided to imagine that they did and here's what I came up with. The one on the left shows the three Moons of Poitrine (they did say we could make up lore!) and the one on the right shows a tohogd-powered rocket* from the Agence Spatiale Poitrinienne heading off to visit the pale blue dot (that's us!).

Possibly these would be interactive stamps which would play music in some way. This has precedent; in 1972 Bhutan produced a set of playable phonographic 'record' stamps which could be played on a turntable. There's also the Voyager space probe golden records - those were 'posted' into space with a rocket launch.

*it's actually what I think is a water tower next to the Chicoutimi pulp mill where the annual 'La Noce' festivals take place. (personally I think it's their spaceship).

Unofficial Poitrinian postage stamps displaying features and activities of the planet.

Face value UK tickets seem to be somewhere between £27 and 35 (depending on booking fees etc) and resale values are obviously much higher than that. Assuming that the tickets on sale here are genuine what happens if people don't want to pay that much. Will the ticket owners just not sell them and so there will be 'gaps' among the audience as tickets are taken out of play?

StubHub apparently has 28 tickets for London 19th October concert and 21 for the Tuesday 20th gig.

Also is there is a single centralised pot of tickets or do each of the various ticket-selling websites have their own batch to sell?

When Khn’s string broke during the Ababa Hotel show in New York, Khn and Klek handled it with such calm, collected brilliance. But, these guys are really out here testing the limits of themselves and the crew — always operating right on the edge!

And that improvisation during the string change… aw, shit! - that 2-minute jam while they were swapping the string was SO good.

Has anyone else noticed how that “boingoingoing” groove has a funky retro vibe of Them Changes by Thundercat? Or am I completely losing it? 😂 👀

Sorry if this is a repost, just trying to make it all clear 😂

Like many of you, I am going as Klek for Halloween! But with it coming closer and closer, I still have no clue about how I'm supposed to build Klek's head. So far I know that it includes paper mache, but I don't know how you turn paper mache into Klek's cylinderical dome.

All help is appreciated!

Welp. I'm back, hi everybody! It's the middle of the night and I can't sleep because my knee really hurts, and it's an hour till I can take another pain pill. As I listen to my ice machine chug along to the strains of Yor Zarad, I started pondering the possibility of an Angine tour next year. It looks like the current Vol II tour ends mid-December, according to the schedule on their website. I remember seeing somewhere they're already booked to play a U.K. festival next summer. What do you all think the possibility is that they'll announce another full tour? Even more intriguing, any chance it will be a Vol III tour, with a new album dropping in the spring similar to what they did this year? It's fun to dream.
