Info on students drawing KEXP session
So as you may know, there were students drawing Angine de Poitrine during their KEXP session (you can see some of the drawings in this flickr album), but I hadn't realized until now that was part of a larger program of students drawing various musicians throughout a sort of residency week at Esma (art school) with 15 groups from Trans Musicales! Here is an article / video about it.

This week, the campus des Écoles Créatives of Rennes had the pleasure of welcoming KEXP, Seattle independent radio station among the most influential in the world, to set up their live stage as part of Trans Musicales.
A collaboration made possible thanks to Precy, and enriched by the students of École Pivaut, who illustrated the live sessions. A beautiful way to capture all the energy of the performances.
For them, it was a rare opportunity to express their sensitivity through direct contact with iconic media.
All week, the studio of École Esma vibrated with the rhythm of the KEXP live sessions, transforming the campus into a true space for musical creation and encounters.
EDIT: ALSO you can take a virtual tour of the campus if you want to check out where Angine de Poitrine played the KEXP show. I can't link specifically to the room but it's pretty clear it's the big concrete room with all the easels in it on the first floor:

early Khn vs Pulcinella (Commedia dell'arte)
Anyone else noticed the similarity between the early Khn costume and mannerisms and the Commedia dell'arte character of Pulcinella?
The loose belted white shirt is more like Klek but the hat & nose (exaggerated) & half mask look like the first Khn hat and half mask

I don't know a lot about Commedia dell'arte so there could be another character that comes to mind (Zanni maybe - EDIT: I guess Zanni is the class of character that encompasses Pulcinella) or more amalgamous theater / jester influence. Maybe somebody more familiar with this can take my half baked idea and run with it!

Tab addict forever comparing browsers
Hello I am a tab addict. I am an obsessive researcher with many many open tabs constantly (I'm talking hundreds)
I change or trial browsers from time to time and recently have been looking for one with good tab grouping functionality and also workspaces - options are a little limited in that regard but I expect more browsers will add a workspace feature.

But also I'm trying to sort which browsers are best at putting idle tabs to sleep. Currently I'm using both Opera and Firefox (concurrently, for different projects) and I'm noticing Opera is just much less responsive and slower to use, takes much longer to reopen (with many tabs) on restart, and it's using minimum twice as much RAM even though Firefox has at least twice as many open tabs. Performance wise there is just no comparison. They both have built in tab snoozing & unload idle tabs when memory is low (unspecified - I set a threshold when browsers allow that but these two do not allow you to specify). Is Firefox just far better at this?
Any ideas? Similar or different experiences here? Is anyone an expert in browser functionality vs very excessive tab use?
Has anyone had good experiences using tab snooze extensions with either of these browsers to manage it better?

How to get me to stop seeding your torrent
(After the hit n run period is over)
I'm kind of a dedicated perma-seeder unless something has a ton of seeds otherwise, but it's time someone called out dumb file naming.
I am right now deleting your uploads from my torrent client:
If your file is called [your.release.group].name.of.film/show
(I'm looking at you, McPwned. Also WATCHABLE)
If your tv show season file is called "Season 1" or "series 1" or god forbid, just "series" .. or god absolutely help you here, "episodes"
If your tv show episode (stand alone torrent) is called "episode X" without the title of the show
If your episode file is called just "Pilot"
If your collection of a director's early work is just called "shorts" or "mini docs" (no director name) or your dvd extras are just called "special features"
If your live music show episode is called "11-12-1078 [guest stars]"
If the title is misspelled
If the title *starts* with a number, is abbreviated painfully / one word excerpt from the title, is just the episode title without context, is an acronym I can't figure out, starts with a #, etc etc
Please friends, name your files something reasonable, like the name of the show (+ the season/episode) or the name of the film. Take a second to double check everything. If your release group name or some other info ("director's cut", "unsold pilot," "NY cast" < examples of helpful stuff!) has to go in the file name, be a dear and stick it toward the end.

EDIT: I really hit a nerve here! I guess we really need to name our torrents "show" and then call people entitled for wanting the show name in them. 👍🏼

Browsers that have both tab grouping and workspaces?
Can anyone help me just come up with a working list of browsers that have both collapsible tab grouping (or "tab islands" they're called in Opera) and workspaces? Just looking for a good browser for very obsessive open tabs & research. I'm picky, and finding it a "choose your poison" situation.
So far I've experimented with:
OPERA - I don't like the bookmark management
VIVALDI - I don't like the tab management
FLOORP - almost bullseye but it's buggy
are there others?
I don't log in or sync browsers and I don't use vertical tabs. But if a browser has only vertical tabs that can be grouped plus workspaces let's talk about it anyway

Where do archived workspace go?
I'm experimenting with floorp because I'm looking for a browser that has good tab management and workspaces, and floorp does both. Experimentally I archived a workspace and now I can't find it. Where do archived workspaces go?
Additionally, I'm simply having trouble finding help because everything directs me to the workspace management button on the toolbar which I took out of the toolbar, because it was acting buggy - I'm managing workspaces from the side panel, which I find much better but limited - and I can't find how to put that back. I keep following links to toolbar customization which are actually for Firefox, so they don't have that feature.
