Casting Call – Minecraft Roleplay SMP (Forge 1.20.1) | Voice Actors & Minecraft Players Wanted (15+)

I'm putting together a semi-scripted Minecraft SMP inspired by mystery anime and story-driven SMPs. The project will be recorded for YouTube and will focus on improvised roleplay, unique abilities, and an overarching mystery.

You do not need to be an experienced voice actor—we're happy to welcome new VAs as long as you're willing to learn and have fun!

What we're looking for

• Age: 15+
• Comfortable with voice chat and roleplaying.
• Decent at Minecraft (you don't have to be a PvP god—just know the game well enough to survive and contribute).
• Experience with modded Minecraft is a plus, but if you're willing to learn, that's perfectly fine too.
• A computer capable of running a moderately modded Forge 1.20.1 pack (mostly Vanilla+ and quality-of-life mods, with a few gameplay additions).
• Able to record your own gameplay and audio in decent quality.
• Reliable, communicative, and able to make recording sessions.

What the SMP is like

• Hardcore survival.
• Every player has a unique supernatural ability.
• A mix of genuine Minecraft gameplay, improvisation, and planned story beats.
• Character interactions are encouraged to feel natural rather than heavily scripted.

The goal is for the world and relationships to develop naturally, with the story guiding events instead of controlling every conversation.

Expectations

• Be respectful and easy to work with.
• No excessive toxicity or drama.
• Stay in character during recordings when appropriate, but don't stress about being a professional actor.
• Be willing to collaborate with the group to make scenes enjoyable for everyone.

Because this series contains major story elements and twists, everyone involved will be expected to keep behind-the-scenes information private.

Please don't spoil story details, scripts, planned events, or major reveals to friends, viewers, or online communities before they're released.
