I am having trouble launching the game

I just downloaded the KSA pre-alpha, and installed it, but now that I am trying to launch it, it just doesn't work. at first, it looks like it is loading the game perfectly, with an icon appearing in the taskbar, but then, after a few seconds, nothing. I have uploaded a video so you can get some details.

edit : I looked into the possibility of it being due to windows security but no, it's not as I have completely disabled the Antivirus and the issue persists. Though it might be because of transfer queues, idk what that is but it says I dont have dedicated transfer queues on the logs.

edit 2 : I found why it doesn't work, it's just because I am playing it on my old laptop that doesn't have any VRAM and uses Intel IG, so my computer can't launch the game engine.

What are these different 'locations' for getting science in KSP science mode ?

I just started a KSP science save and from a few tutorials I've seen, the main way to progress through the game is to do science experiments in different altitudes/locations. The thing is I don't really understand how these locations work, as I know there are different altitude levels on Kerbin, but I only know some of them. I don't really understand biomes too, do you have to land in one to get the different 'location', or does flying over it count as a different 'location' ? If someone could enlighten me on this particular subject, that would be great.

New KSP player here

Hey, I decided I wanted to finally try KSP after all this time. I watched quite some content on social media, and it looks quite cool, though I feel really overwhelmed by the complexity of the game and what more experienced players do/understand. I am definitely not complaining though, I was hoping for some sort of realism. I came to this subreddit looking for explanations and, I guess some sort of basic guide on these features. Things like what is ∆v and how to use it ( I saw this popping up everywhere but I have no idea what it is ), how to actually make functional spaceships/rockets for going to other celestial bodies (what techniques to use, meta, etc...), tips for increased realism and fun, mods, etc... I am looking forward to playing the game so hopefully I can get some useful answers.

Why don't attribute stats do anything ???

I am trying to get Verso to act first, followed by Maelle and Sciel, and, as you can see, my speed stat for Verso is 1800, for Maelle, its 1400 and for Sciel, its 900. Despite this, when i end up starting a challenge in the endless tower, the turn order is completely off with Maelle starting, and yes, all of them have first strike. Is it supposed to be like this ? I tried the " remove everyone from the party and add them in the right order " trick and it didnt change anything.

Gotta say, I am pretty proud of myself

I am pretty proud of the patience I had to stay 1h and 18 min doing 464 parries to this monster at level 35-ish. I think I am gonna take a break though.
