Kibble

This is my new kitten, Priya. We brought her home yesterday

Priya is a very confident kitten and hasn't had a moment of fear. She is eating wet food like a champion but doesn't seem to recognize kibble as food.

I am leaving kibble out for her to graze, especially at night. How do I teach her it's food too?

New family member today

I was so worried about whether my new kitten would be scared or not when we brought her home. She has been so well socialized that she marched straight out of the carrier right away. She has been so busy it has been difficult to get a decent photo. She is either constantly moving or fast asleep. She has a little kink in her tail (one parent is a bobtail).

She has eaten one meal here that was much more than I expected. I have kibble left out for free feeding but I am not sure she knows what it is yet.

Absolutely in love with our new little Priya.

Therapy for cptsd

I have ME and I have undiagnosed cptsd. I am having a terrible time getting the correct therapy to actually have that diagnosed.

In the meantime I am going to have a "lesser" therapy. I know I have some things I need to work on and release triggers to help my health and ME as well. Stress is a huge ME trigger for me.

Therapy is going to cause me a lot of stress and I am worried will make me more ill. I keep telling myself I will be able to just say I want to stop, no one will force me to continue if I don't feel like my health now can cope.

If anyone has had therapy while being ill with ME, what can I ask for to help therapy be more ME aware?

I am thinking to ask for it not to be weekly as I don't feel a week is enough to recover physically.

What else can I ask for?

It has the option for being phone/video so I can at least avoid traveling.

Also, if you had therapy, is it worth going through the effects on ME now for something that may or may not happen later?

Low porosity, clarifying shampoo

I have been on a rather long journey trying to help my low porosity hair absorb moisture. I do not use heavy products and an confident the ones I use come out with regular shampooing.

It was suggested to me that perhaps hard water was causing build up I can't see and blocking moisture. So, I bought a clarifying shampoo from Aveno. A lot of shampoos cause me loads of itching so I am not enjoying Aveno.

I have been trying this clarifying shampoo weekly with a double shampoo. I see no signs of improvement and am more worried a strong shampoo may damage my ends.

How long should I be using this before I see a difference? Or is it already there and not helping?

How to hide sensitive pictures?

I am technically not new to reddit, I had an account previously. It used to be that sensitive photos would be blurred.

Is there a setting somewhere to make that happen? I can't seem to find it. I am getting reddit suggestions on my feed that include animal injuries and various people's gross body issues. I'd rather it be a choice to look or not.
