Ethos

I’ve seen a few posts on here about working for Ethos but they’re older. I received an offer, and they pay better than what I make. Is it worth it? Are some locations/states better than others? I’m generally pretty anti corporate but the job market is abysmal right now and I need to be making more than I am.

I can tolerate being overworked, even if it’s not ideal. I cannot risk going somewhere where there are inappropriate layoffs, 0 advancements, and management making up bs to get people in trouble.

I’m applied to an ER tech position in Arizona.

Would it be disrespectful to change metal type of a piece?

For some reason Reddit being weird about photos for me so no photo att

A few years ago I purchased a gorgeous piece of turquoise jewelry handcrafted by a Native American artist in New Mexico. I wish I knew her name, but I unfortunately don’t remember after several years. It hangs from a small silver wire and has this tiny piece of silver embedded in it, which she explained symbolized a raindrop of protection. The piece is marvelous quality, has survived the washer and dryer (dropped it into a fluffy rug without realizing and didn’t find it till after) and I literally haven’t taken it off since, including in the shower.

I wear it on a gold chain, and the silver does stand out. Silver doesn’t look good on me, but I love it too much to not wear it. I recently ordered some gold metal finish for a faded part of the clasp on my chain. Would it be disrespectful to the artist to paint the wire that the stone hangs from? I am white, and I am not spiritual or religious in any way, but I recognize how important and special genuine Native jewelry is. I wouldn’t want to do anything disrespectful to the artist who made the piece. The piece is so well crafted I plan on wearing it for many, many more year, regardless of the color of the wire.
